We are working with the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance, and repair business in the Exeter area, looking for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their busy Service Department.

Job Details:

• Location: Northallerton
• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 OTE
• Working days: 5 days a week – No Sundays

Requirements:

• Current MOT Testing Licence
• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or City & Guilds Automotive
• Experience in a car dealership, independent garage, car supermarket, or service centre
• Completed MOT tester course (Class 4, 5, or 7)
• Experience working on vehicles/cars
• Ideally hybrid/EV trained; training provided if not
• Full driver’s license with less than 9 points
• Willing to assist in workshop with light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs
