• Position: MOT TESTER/TECHNICIAN
• Location: Lookers VW Darlington
• Salary: Up To £45,600 annual
• Hours: 42 hours weekly
• Reporting To: Mark Connor

Role Overview

Lookers VW Darlington is recruiting a Technician to join their workshop. You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle health checks, conducting vehicle services, and performing repairs alongside experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

1. Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
2. Conducting MOTs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
3. Performing additional repairs as authorized
4. Road testing vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
5. Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working within a workshop
• Self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• MOT Licence (desirable)
