We are collaborating with the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance, and repair business in the Exeter area, seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.

Job Details:

• Position: MOT Tester / Technician – Selby
• Location: Selby
• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 OTE
• Working days: 5 days a week – No Sundays

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role:

1. Current MOT Testing Licence
2. Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or City & Guilds Automotive
3. Experience working within a car dealership, independent garage, car supermarket, or service centre
4. Completed MOT tester course (Class 4, 5, or 7)
5. Experience working on vehicles/cars/LC
6. Ideally trained in Hybrid/EV vehicles; training will be provided if not
7. Full driver’s license with fewer than 9 points
8. Team player willing to assist in workshop tasks, including light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs
