Job Description:

Role: Fire Alarm Service Technician

Location: Lancaster, Lancashire

Salary: Up to £40,000

Note: This is a fully remote position. Company van and fuel card provided. A full clean driving license is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine testing and inspections of fire alarm systems
• Conduct alarm activations, visual inspections, and functional checks
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation
• Apply strong technical skills in accordance with relevant regulations (BS 5839)
• Respond to emergency call-outs and perform necessary repairs
• Provide excellent customer service and build good client relationships
• Report faults or potential issues to the appropriate teams
• Stay updated with industry regulations and new technologies
• Follow health and safety regulations
