Job summary

Autotech Recruit is seeking experienced MOT Testers and Vehicle Technicians to join a busy workshop in the Camberley area. The role focuses on MOT testing (where qualified), servicing and repairs with emphasis on high-quality workmanship and safety.

You will work independently with minimal supervision in a supportive team, with ongoing training and clear career progression opportunities offered by the established business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an MOT Tester and/or Vehicle Technician
• Valid MOT Testing Licence advantageous
• Strong practical mechanical skills and diagnostic ability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred

Responsibilities

• MOT testing in line with DVSA standards (where qualified)
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults
• Complete repair work including clutches, cambelts, suspension and other general mechanical repairs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintain accurate records of work completed

About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced MOT Testers and Vehicle Technicians to join their growing workshop team. They are looking for reliable, self-motivated individuals who can work independently and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. Candidates with dedicated MOT testing experience are particularly welcomed, although experienced Vehicle Technicians with an MOT licence will also be considered.
