Job summary

Autotech-Recruit-Limited is seeking experienced MOT Testers and Vehicle Technicians to join a busy workshop in the United Kingdom. You will perform MOT testing to DVSA standards, service and repair a wide range of vehicles, and diagnose mechanical faults with minimal supervision. This is a stable permanent role with ongoing training and career progression opportunities in a supportive workshop environment. Salary is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous MOT Tester and/or Vehicle Technician experience required.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence advantageous.
• Strong practical mechanical skills and diagnostic ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• MOT testing in line with DVSA standards (where qualified).
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults.
• Complete repair work including clutches, cambelts, suspension and other general mechanical repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.

About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced MOT Testers and Vehicle Technicians to join their growing workshop team. They are looking for reliable, self-motivated individuals who can work independently and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. Candidates with dedicated MOT testing experience are particularly welcomed, although experienced Vehicle Technicians with an MOT licence will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• MOT testing in line with DVSA standards (where qualified)
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults
• Complete repair work including clutches, cambelts, suspension and other general mechanical repairs

Requirements

• Previous experience as an MOT Tester and/or Vehicle Technician
• Valid MOT Testing Licence advantageous

• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
