Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Worcester is seeking a combined Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our long-established independent service centre. You will conduct official DVSA MOT tests, perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and core mechanical repairs across a varied customer vehicle mix.

A strong focus on safety and quality is required. Based in Worcester with free on-site parking and straightforward access via major routes, you will join a supportive, zero-corporate-pressure culture

Qualifications

• MOT Tester Licence (DVSA) mandatory.
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or time-served background.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.
• Experience across all-makes servicing and core mechanical repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform official DVSA MOT tests in full compliance with DVSA standards.
• Execute routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Carry out core mechanical repairs on a varied vehicle mix.
• Ensure safety and quality in all tasks.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + team productivity bonus


• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule (No weekends required)

Role Overview

Seeking a combined Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our technical team. You will be responsible for conducting official MOT tests in full compliance with DVSA standards, alongside executing routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and core mechanical repairs across a varied customer vehicle mix.

Requirements

• Active DVSA MOT Tester Licence (Mandatory).


• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served background).


• Strong practical experience across all-makes servicing, core mechanical repair, and accurate safety testing.


• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

• Base: Worcester Area (Free secure on-site parking)
