Hawk Hiring LTD in Bristol is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our busy workshop. You will conduct official DVSA MOT tests to standards, perform routine servicing, and carry out vehicle health checks.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across a wide range of customer vehicles, using your NVQ/IMI Level 2/3 qualifications and your own tools; a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with 1+ years of workshop experience.
• Solid knowledge of diagnostics, routine maintenance and mechanical repair.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.
• DVSA MOT training provided if not holding the ticket.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your technical experience and skill level)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (100% WEEKDAYS ONLY with strictly zero weekend shifts required!)

Role Overview

Seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our busy workshop team in Bristol. You will be responsible for conducting official MOT tests to DVSA standards, carrying out routine servicing, performing vehicle health checks, and systematically troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults across a wide variety of customer vehicles to high industry standards.

Requirements

• NVQ / IMI Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with 1+ years of workshop experience
• Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repair
• Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card is preferred, but fully funded DVSA training is provided for experienced technicians without a ticket
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
