Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our expanding workshop team. You will conduct DVSA inspections on a varied customer vehicle mix in an updated ATL bay, logging results and performing light service work.

The role requires a valid DVSA MOT Tester Licence, NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, a full UK driving licence and your own hand tools. A fair rota and on-site parking are provided.

• DVSA Smart Card / MOT Tester Licence required.
• NVQ/IMI Level 3 in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.
• Methodical testing approach with DVSA compliance and high trade standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DVSA inspections on diverse vehicle mix.
• Log and record test results accurately in the system.
• Carry out light servicing, brake and repair work as needed.
• Maintain ATL bay workflow with front-of-house team.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + team productivity bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturday mornings operated on a fair team rota basis

Role Overview

Seeking a dedicated MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our expanding workshop team. Operating out of an updated ATL bay supported by front-of-house advisors, you will be responsible for conducting thorough DVSA inspections, logging test results, and carrying out light service repairs across a varied customer vehicle mix.

Requirements

• Active DVSA Smart Card / Valid MOT Tester Licence (Mandatory).
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served garage background).
• Methodical testing approach with strong commitment to DVSA compliance and honest trade standards.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
