Vertu Honda Plymouth is seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join a busy, high-performing workshop. You will carry out MOT tests to DVSA guidelines and support servicing as needed, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £36,950 depending on experience, plus an attractive benefits package and development opportunities. A £2,000 sign-on bonus and a £2,000 retention bonus are included.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid MOT Tester qualification.
• Possess a full UK driving licence.
• Experience working in a dealership, independent garage or fast-fit environment.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA guidelines and regulations.
• Completing vehicle servicing and maintenance work to manufacturer standards.
• Performing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work required.
• Providing clear and accurate reports on vehicle condition.
• Supporting customer-focused solutions through quality workmanship.
• Maintaining workshop efficiency and ensuring deadlines are achieved.

About the Role

As an MOT Tester, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles meet the highest standards of safety and compliance. Working alongside our experienced technicians, you'll also support servicing and maintenance activities where required.
