Job summary

Vertu Ford Shirley is seeking a Service and Maintenance Technician / MOT Tester to join the team. The role offers a basic salary between £28,840 - £36,200 for a 40-hour week, with Saturdays paid as overtime and an over-performance bonus opportunity.

A £4000 sign-on bonus (£2000 in month 1 and £2000 in month 13) is included. You will maintain, service and repair vehicles to the highest standards, with qualifications including NVQ Level 3 in Automotive, current vehicle technician experience, MOT

Qualifications

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license is essential.
• Your own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

Join our team at Vertu Ford Shirley and become a valued Service and Maintenance Technician / MOT Tester.

We are offering a basic salary between £28,840 - £36,200 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week and Saturdays paid as overtime and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

We are also offering a £4000 sign on bonus, £2000 paid in month one and £2000 paid in month 13!

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. We are expanding our team and currently seeking skilled individuals who take pride in their work. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise across all aspects of the job will be essential, from straightforward servicing to complex repairs. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
