Allscreens Nationwide Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced MOT Technician for a respected automotive service centre in Consett. The role offers a stable, full-time position with clear opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.

Join a well-established team that values quality workmanship and customer service. The salary offers up to £32,000 base with an OTE up to £38,000, and a Monday–Friday 8:30 to 5:30 schedule. Ongoing training is provided.

• Up to £32,000 basic salary, with an OTE of up to £38,000
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm - no weekends

Duties of the MOT Technician:

• Perform MOT tests in compliance with DVSA standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards as an MOT Technician
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify wear, tear, and faults
• Assist with general servicing and maintenance tasks using the latest diagnostic tools and technology
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and communicate findings effectively to customers

Requirements:

• Valid MOT Licence
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven experience as an MOT Technician
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Capable of working to high standards and meeting deadlines
