Perfect Placement is recruiting for a respected family-run service centre in Aldershot for an MOT Technician. The role offers a competitive salary (£38,000–£42,000) and a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with no weekends or bank holidays.

You will conduct Class 4 MOT tests on cars and light vans, perform servicing and diagnostics, and help maintain DVSA DVSA guidelines. The position provides a secure role with pension and ongoing training within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid Class 4 certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Class 4 MOT tests on cars and light vans in DVSA standards.
• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all vehicle test results and service records.
• Ensure all MOT activities adhere to DVSA MOT Testing Scheme guidelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational status of MOT bay equipment.
• Support vehicle health checks, safety inspections, and post-repair assessments.
• Assist during vehicle diagnostics and additional examinations when required.
• Uphold the safety, security, and integrity of the MOT scheme at all times.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and technical expertise within the team.
