Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Sunderland is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their automotive service centre. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards, carry out servicing and repairs, and provide clear, professional communication about vehicle conditions.

The ideal candidate holds a valid MOT licence, NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), a full UK driving licence, and can work independently or as part of a team in a busy workshop. Competitive salary and ongoing training are on offer.

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven MOT testing experience as an MOT Tester.
• High workmanship standards and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT testing to DVSA standards as an MOT Tester.
• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and faults.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate vehicle conditions clearly.
• Utilise the latest diagnostic tools in all tasks.
• Assist with additional mechanical repairs where necessary.
