Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Cheadle, Staffordshire, is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join a busy, family‑run service centre. You will perform MOT tests, servicing, and repairs to DVSA standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer service.

The role offers a competitive salary of £35,000, negotiable based on experience, with hours 8:30am–5:30pm Monday to Friday and optional Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proven experience as an MOT Technician with DVSA knowledge.
• Ability to carry out diagnostics and mechanical repairs confidently.
• MOT certification with a valid licence.
• Own tools and the ability to work independently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
• Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Carry out repairs confidently and efficiently.
• Assist with general workshop tasks to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication as an MOT Technician.
