Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support originators in building complete loan files and managing the journey from lead to contract. You will coordinate appointments, review credit and financials, and handle documentation and disclosures with accuracy and urgency.

The role requires strong customer service skills, multi-tasking ability, and proficiency with MS Office. Experience in mortgage lending and an NMLS license are preferred, with a focus on meeting client

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Mortgage lending experience preferred.
• Two years of mortgage lending experience or related field required.
• NMLS license or registration required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist originator with appointment setting and lead tracking.
• Analyze credit and financials to determine suitable loan products.
• Run credit, AUS findings, and prepare Initial Fee Worksheet.
• Gather documentation and manage loan file from lead to contract.
• Monitor dates, handle disclosures, and support processing.
• Maintain client databases and coordinate marketing communications.
