Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an In-Store Cleaning Manager to lead a cleaning team across early shifts, Monday to Saturday, 6am to 11am. You will oversee floor and area cleaning, manage rotas, attendance, and recruitment support while maintaining high standards and adherence to company policies.

The role focuses on coaching staff, delivering on-site training, health & safety compliance, and performance monitoring to meet budgeted targets and ensure a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field is desirable.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training and basic HR compliance is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and prioritize, with flexible hours/days.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms plus ad hoc areas.
• Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, absence, performance coaching and recruitment support.
• Complete weekly site audits and document required actions.
• Identify on-site training needs and conduct coaching, including Health & Safety training.
