Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a highly organised Cleaning Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites in the UK. You will plan, lead, and develop teams to uphold high cleanliness and sanitary standards, coordinating budgets and resources.

This role requires strong leadership, proactive problem solving, and the ability to travel between stores with a valid UK driving license to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage cleaning staff to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning personnel.
• Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve performance targets and goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement training for improvement.
• Liaise with clients to understand cleaning requirements and expectations.
• Provide updates on operations, address client concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets for supplies, equipment, and staffing.
