Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a General Assistant to support busy catering operations. You will help with food preparation, serve customers, keep the kitchen clean and tidy, and assist with deliveries and vending top-ups. This role suits someone who enjoys a practical, fast-paced environment.

Right to work in the UK is required; some basic food hygiene training can be provided if not already held. Prior kitchen or hospitality experience is valued but not essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK
• Food hygiene Level 2 desirable
• Commercial kitchen experience preferred
• Good time-management and organisation

Responsibilities

• Help with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads
• Be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, organise storage
• Serve food items to customers per the menu and assist as host/waiter at events
• Top up vending services
