Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring for a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation, food safety and customer service in our facilities. You will help with basic prep tasks, keep kitchens clean, receive deliveries and maintain storage areas. You will also serve items to customers and top up vending daily.

The role suits those with a basic catering background and a willingness to learn; a DBS check may be required for some sites. Right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knife skills and food preparation abilities.
• Time management and strong organisational skills are essential.
• Commercial kitchen experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help with food preparation: peeling, chopping, trimming, sandwiches and salads.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitize utensils and stations.
• Receive deliveries and organise food and supply storage areas.
• Serve food items to customers as per the chefs' menu.
• Top up vending services daily.
