Not For Profit People is seeking an experienced Money Advice Caseworker to support clients facing debt and financial hardship. You will deliver high-quality advice, assess budgets, and negotiate with creditors to help clients regain financial stability.

The role offers a hybrid site in West Sussex, with both full-time and part-time options, and a fixed-term maternity contract of 12 months. Closing date is 19 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience of debt, money, welfare benefits, or related advice work.
• Knowledge of debt services, creditor negotiation, and financial capability.
• Comfortable with numbers and difficult conversations.
• Natural problem solver who stays calm under pressure.
• Organised, resilient, and adaptable.
• Team player who’s open to feedback.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality money advice and casework to clients in debt and financial hardship.
• Assess financial circumstances and prepare realistic budgets.
• Identify priority debts and negotiate with creditors on clients' behalf.
• Empower clients to make informed financial decisions and plan next steps.
