Job summary

McGregor Boyall is seeking a Modular Delivery Engineer in Greater London to support development and delivery of modular MEP solutions across pre-construction and live projects.

You'll contribute to modular strategy, technical coordination, buildability, cost, sustainability and manufacturing, working with design, estimating, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure efficient, practical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (ME or EE) is required.
• Experience with modular construction, prefabrication, DfMA or offsite manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MEP, structural and modular interfaces.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Ability to identify opportunities to rationalise and optimise MEP solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input from early bid stage through project delivery.
• Review designs and identify opportunities for modularisation and cost effectiveness.
• Develop modular MEP strategies based on project requirements.
• Prepare and manage RFIs to clarify technical requirements.
• Coordinate between design, manufacture and installation teams.
• Support technical submissions for approvals and compliance.
• Capture and implement lessons learned and maintain cross-team communication.
