You will coordinate inputs from multiple disciplines, ensure compliance with UK regulations and standards, and communicate clearly with clients and the design team.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years’ UK structural engineering experience.
• Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and appropriate structural analysis/design software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver structural engineering projects or defined work packages to quality, programme and budget.
• Prepare structural calculations, reports, specifications, design notes, and feasibility studies.
• Develop practical structural solutions for steel, concrete, masonry and timber including foundations and connections.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, civil, and services information.
• Review drawings and submissions for risks, interfaces and buildability.
• Undertake site inspections and respond to technical queries during construction.
