Get Set UK in Portsmouth is seeking an Employment Advisor to deliver one-to-one employment support to young people aged 18-24 across community locations. You will manage a caseload, help overcome barriers to work and support progression into employment, education or training.

This mobile, field-based role requires travel between delivery locations, a valid driving licence and appropriate business-use insurance.

Formación

• Experience supporting, coaching or advising people towards a defined outcome.
• Experience engaging people who may lack confidence or barriers to employment.
• Experience identifying practical barriers and helping individuals progress towards employment or education.
• Evidence of delivering measurable targets, deadlines or agreed outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with young people, understand strengths, ambitions and barriers, and agree clear employment-focused action plans.
• Provide CV, application and interview support, develop workplace confidence and resolve practical issues such as travel, ID or digital access.
• Identify suitable vacancies with Employer Partnerships colleagues and prepare young people for employer introductions.
