Job summary

Get Set UK is seeking a dynamic leader to drive the Youth Mentor Programme across Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire, with a focus on moving young people aged 18 to 24 into sustainable employment.

In this mobile, performance-led role, you will manage Team Leaders, monitor outcomes, ensure quality and compliance, and travel regularly to delivery sites. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Operational management experience in employability or welfare-to-work with outcome-based performance.
• Experience leading managers and front-line teams, including coaching and addressing underperformance.
• Evidence of using management information to identify performance gaps and manage risk.
• Experience with quality, compliance and audit requirements and building relationships with commissioners, employers or partners.
• Full driving licence, access to an appropriate vehicle and business-use insurance for regular travel across Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
• Evidence of commitment, reliability and delivering high standards of work.
• Evidence of delivering outcomes and meeting targets.
• Ability to explain gaps or short-term roles in the last five years.
• Confident knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Lead Teams to translate programme requirements into clear expectations and outcomes.
• Monitor engagement, job matching, employment, sustainment, caseloads, quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with DWP, Jobcentre Plus, employers and local partners while safeguarding and data accuracy.
• Provide visible leadership through regular travel and presence at delivery sites.
