Job summary

Gold Group Limited seeks a Mobile Water Treatment Engineer to serve South London and Kent, covering Bromley, Sidcup, Bexley and Orpington. The role is field based with a company van and fuel card, and a salary of £28,000–£30,000 per year.

You will perform water sampling, disinfection and routine maintenance, maintain L8 compliance, complete reports, and work with the technical team to deliver planned works. A valid driving licence and relevant water treatment qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Legionella awareness training including knowledge of regulations/byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274.
• Water sampling experience including understanding of different sample suites and bottle types.
• Disinfection/cleaning of water systems (WH005) and evaporative cooling systems (W258) preferred.
• Valid driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organisation as Water Compliance Technician for water hygiene/treatment services.
• Work with technical team and schedulers to deliver planned and remedial works.
• Perform tasks: Temperature monitoring, descales, storage tank inspections/cleans, cooling tower cleanings, TMV servicing, water sampling.
• Ensure site L8 logbooks are current and accurate.
• Complete work reports on day works sheets or Planon.
• Carry out remedial works and PP- M service visits as needed.

Brief

Mobile Water Treatment Engineer needed for a large well known facilities Management organisation based on a mobile basis covering South London and Kent who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Water Treatment Engineer that takes pride in their work.

The successful candidate must have relevant qualifications and/or experience along with water Sampling experience including understanding of different sample suites and bottle types. Along also with experience in cleaning & Disinfection (Disinfection of Hot and Cold Water Systems (WH005) and Inspection, Disinfection cleaning & monitoring of Evaporative Cooling Systems - W258 trained preferable

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Mobile Water Treatment Engineer will include:

• Representing the organisation as a Water Compliance as a Tier 1 Water Treatment Technician to execute the self-delivery of all Water hygiene/treatment services
• Interpersonal skills will be key to gaining the trust and confidence of all Clients, effectively working with the Technical team supported by Schedulers and Contract Administrators to efficiently deliver Water Hygiene/Treatment Planned and remedial works utilising system tools
• Tasks will include but not limited to; Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections & Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean & Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling
• Ensure all site L8 logbooks where acting as the Primary Technician are in date and accurate
• Complete work reports either via a day works sheet or Planon in a timely manner
• Carryout remedial works in response to quoted works
• Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems

What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Water Treatment Engineer:

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience dependant on role
• Legionella Awareness Training including knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and any other relevant guidance
• Knowledge of Water Hygiene service delivery requirements based on Table 2.1 HSG274 Part 2
• Water Sampling experience including understanding of different sample suites and bottle types
• Clean & Disinfection experience (Disinfection of Hot and Cold Water Systems (WH005) and Inspection, Cleaning & Disinfection of Evaporative Cooling Systems - W258 trained preferable)
• Valid driving licence
