Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Junior Water Treatment Engineer to oversee water treatment across multiple sites in Bromley, Sidcup, Bexley, Orpington and Kent. Ideal candidates have partial experience and a drive to expand qualifications.

Role includes monitoring, descales, tank inspections, tower cleaning, TMV servicing and sampling, with a family-friendly schedule and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience of ~8 months in water treatment.
• Water treatment qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ACOP L8 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperatures across sites.
• Descale showerheads and maintain water systems.
• Inspect and clean cold water storage tanks.
• Clean and disinfect cooling towers.
• Service TMVs and collect water samples.

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in the South East has arisen! CBW are currently recruiting for a Junior Water Treatment Engineer to look after a number of sites across Bromley, Sidcup, Bexley, Orpington & parts of Kent across a range of contracts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in water treatment with a minimum of roughly 8 months of experience in the water treatment field. Water treatment qualifications are desired but not essential. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with minimal experience looking to expand their knowledge and qualifications.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00 am to 16:30 pm - 30 minute lunch break

Requirements

• City and Guilds in Plumbing Level 2 - Desirable
• City and Guilds in Water Treatment - Desirable
• City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems - Desirable
• Demonstrate previous experience in water system remediation/maintenance works
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
• Fully trained and knowledgeable on the ACOP L8 regulations
