Job summary

Gold Group Limited is seeking Mobile Water Treatment Engineers for roles in Smethwick. The positions involve field-based work delivering water hygiene and treatment services, ensuring compliance and safe operation across sites.

Candidates should have Legionella training, water sampling experience, and TMV servicing familiarity, with a valid driving licence. A van and fuel card are provided alongside a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Legionella Awareness Training with knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and other guidance.
• TMV Servicing experience preferable.
• Water Sampling experience including understanding sample suites and bottle types.
• Experience in water hygiene/treatment.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Representing the water compliance as a Tier 1 Water Treatment Technician to deliver Self-delivery of water hygiene/treatment services.
• Carryout Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage, Tank Inspections and Cleans; TMV Servicing.
• Carry out remedial works in response to quoted works.
• Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems.
• Ensure all site L8 logbooks are in date and accurate when acting as the Primary Technician.

Brief

Mobile Water Treatment Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Smethwick who are looking to employ a number of experienced and well-rounded Mobile Water Treatment Engineers.

The successful candidate must have relevant qualifications and/or experience dependant on role

Along with Legionella Awareness Training including extensive Knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and any other relevant guidance.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Mobile Water Treatment Engineer will include:

• Representing the water compliance as a Tier 1 Water Treatment Technician to execute the self delivery of all Water hygiene/treatment services
• Duties include but not limited to; Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage, Tank Inspections and Cleans TMV Servicing, Water Sampling
• Carryout remedial works in response to quoted works
• Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems
• Ensure all site L8 logbooks where acting as the Primary Technician are in date and accurate

What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Water Treatment Engineer:

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience dependant on role

• TMV Servicing experience (Servicing and Testing Requirements of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV) (WH018) trained is preferable)
