Job summary

RAC is seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division. This role delivers planned servicing and diagnostics on members' driveways or workplaces, with no emergency callouts, backed by structured support and a clear schedule.

You’ll work in a territory across Esher cluster and surrounding areas, performing routine servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs using mobile equipment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing using advanced mobile equipment.
• Diagnostics and in-depth repairs conducted on-site at member locations.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection results.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
