Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the UK. You will work on a pre-booked schedule, carrying out routine servicing, diagnostics with mobile equipment, and in-depth repairs to RAC standards, ensuring safety and quality on every job.

You’ll have a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set and access to career progression, including EV/diagnostic skills development and supporting benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Full UK driving licence with ≤6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
