RAC is expanding its Mobile Vehicle Technician SMR team. You will perform planned servicing and diagnostics on customers’ vehicles, carrying out in-depth repairs away from a workshop.

Working with a clearly booked schedule, you’ll provide expert advice and safety checks while enjoying independence and structured support. This mobile role offers a 40-hour week, with some Saturday work, a competitive base salary (£40,170) and OTE up to £52,000, plus overtime, benefits and ongoing development

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• 2+ years' experience in vehicle maintenance or similar role.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine servicing and inspections.
• Perform diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• Complete in-depth repairs on site or at members' driveways.
• Advise members and provide recommendations based on inspection.
• Conduct safety checks aligned with RAC standards.
