Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the SMR division in Leeds. You will complete pre-booked, on-site servicing and diagnostics with a fully equipped RAC van and advanced diagnostics tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on customer vehicles.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment and on-site testing.
• In‑depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection results.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
