Job summary

RAC is recruiting for mobile technicians to service members at driveways and workplaces. Work is pre-booked with a clear digital schedule, focusing on planned servicing, diagnostics, and repairs with full tools and support provided.

You’ll operate in a stable, structured environment with set hours, overtime options, and competitive pay. The role emphasizes independence, safety, and customer service while contributing to RAC's service goals.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
