Job summary

RAC is hiring a Mobile Mechanic for the Service, Maintenance and Repair division. You’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, whether on driveways or car parks.

You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit from day one. You’ll work a 40-hour week with core hours 8:30 am–5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays, covering the Warrington cluster and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Mobile mechanic delivering maintenance, diagnostics and repairs at customers’ locations.
• Manage stock, reporting and customer conversations on-site.
• Work across various locations within Warrington cluster (Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, etc.).
