Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Mobile Mechanic for its Service, Maintenance and Repair division. You’ll service customer vehicles on-site and on the road, supported by a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, and diagnostic kit from day one. Expect a 40-hour week with occasional Saturdays and earning potential up to £52,000 with bonuses and overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on customer vehicles.
• Manage stock and complete reporting.
• Maintain strong customer conversations and professional representation of the RAC.
