Job summary

Octane Recruitment are partnering with a leading UK breakdown company to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Technician covering the Brighton area. The role offers a £35,000 base salary with an OTE of £43,000–£53,000, a 40-hour week, and a flexible roster.

You'll attend breakdowns, diagnose issues, service vehicles, and provide excellent customer service, with full training from day one and a fully equipped company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ/IMI or City and Guilds Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns to diagnose issues and get vehicles back on the road.
• Vehicle servicing and general maintenance including electrical work and vehicle diagnostics.
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business.

Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician – Brighton

Salary: £35,000, complimented by an average OTE ranging from £43,000 to £53,000. Hours: 40 hours per week with a flexible roster. Roster is provided seven days in advance; core hours are sent three days in advance. Shift patterns include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Ref: 2861

We have an exciting new job vacancy available for a Roadside Technician covering the Brighton area. Our client is one of the most recognisable and leading vehicle breakdown companies in the UK and they are rapidly growing, making it a great time to join as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns to diagnose issues and work on vehicles to get them back on the road, or ensure the vehicle is returned to the workshop.
• Identify problems and advise the customer on the vehicle 0issues.
• Vehicle servicing and general maintenance including electrical work and vehicle diagnostics.
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum qualification equivalent to NVQ/IMI or City and Guilds Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
