Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive retailer for a Mobile Vehicle Technician role in Warrington. The role offers a competitive £38,000 starting salary with an OTE over £44,000, plus generous leave and a strong benefits package.

You will complete IMI Level-3 Electric Vehicle training and work in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment with opportunities for career progression. Travel will be required across Warrington and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level-2 or Level-3 in Automotive Technology or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience working on vehicles, ideally Ford models.
• Able to perform full mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• Willingness to travel to the North West UK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing on a variety of vehicles.
• Provide high-quality technical advice, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Travel to diverse client locations within Warrington and surrounding areas.
• Maintain vehicle safety and compliance with road worthiness standards.
• Keep accurate records of all work and parts used.

• Conduct a comprehensive range of mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing on a variety of vehicles

• Support ongoing development, particularly in electric vehicle systems, through training and practical application
• Support vehicle readiness and meet quality standards at all times
• Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
• Full valid UK driving licence
• NVQ Level-2 or Level-3 in Automotive Technology, City & Guilds or equivalent
• Relevant experience working on vehicles, ideally Ford models
• Ability to perform full mechanical repairs and diagnostics
Own tools and equipment suitable for vehicle repairs
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Motivation and willingness to develop skills, including electric vehicle maintenance
• Flexible and willing to travel to various locations within the North West UK
