Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the Midlands. The role involves travelling to customer sites in a company van to perform repairs, diagnostics and servicing. Training in EV technology is provided during the first year, with potential to earn bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence (minimum 1 year).

• Interest or experience in electric vehicle (EV) technology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Travel to designated locations in the Midlands using a company van.
• Carry out a full range of automotive repairs, diagnostics and servicing tasks.
• Provide technical advice of the highest standard to customers.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.
• Stay current with electro-mechanical vehicle technology, including EV and hybrid systems.
• Ensure all work meets company and safety standards.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks across varied locations.

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

• Travel to designated locations in the Midlands, utilising a company van
• Conduct a full range of automotive repairs, diagnostics, and servicing tasks
• Provide technical advice of the highest standard to customers as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
• Stay current with electro-mechanical vehicle technology, including electric and hybrid systems
• Ensure all work complies with company and safety standards
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks at varied locations

Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of one year
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy automotive environment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A proactive approach to continual learning, particularly in electric vehicle technology
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
