Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Manchester to perform high-quality mechanical repairs at customers’ homes and workplaces. The role requires diagnosing and servicing vehicles with full field support from a dedicated team.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years as a Vehicle Technician, holds a full UK driving licence, and candidate progression opportunities are available with a tech-enabled mobile service provider. Company van and tools are supplied.

• Experience in diagnostic work and customer-facing roles.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Role:

• As a Mobile Vehicle Technician you will travel to customers houses & places of work performing high quality mechanical repairs. All this with the full support of a team that’s built around you
• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters

Mobile Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• 4+ years as a Vehicle Technician is needed
• Must hold a full UK driving licence (no more than 9 points)
• Ideally NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 2 (Or equivalent), but we will also consider time served candidates with 5+ year experience as a Vehicle Technician
