Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician in Dartford to service, maintain and repair at customer locations with support from our workshop network. You will travel to sites in a fully equipped mobile workshop, ensuring high-quality service and safety standards.

The position offers a base salary of £40,800 with OTE £46,740+ via overtime and bonuses, plus a range of company benefits and training including hybrid and EV training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Experience servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete warranty work and manufacturer recalls.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
• Deliver outstanding customer service on every visit.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Work closely with workshop support teams for more complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 Saturday Mornings
