Job summary

Riverside in Guildford is seeking a Floating Support Worker on a fixed-term basis until 04/11/2026. The role involves 37.5 hours weekly, with travel across Guildford/Surrey. A full UK driving licence and car access are required.

Salary sits at £28,031.56 per annum, with flexi hours and a Monday–Friday pattern. You'll connect customers with employability coaches, assist with budgeting and benefits, and help them move towards independent tenancies.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Be a team player with a caring, empathetic and resilient attitude.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people including lived experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and lone working.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers in Riverside services.
• Help connect customers with employability coaches and benefits.
• Maintain records and perform admin duties.
• Travel to properties in Guildford/Surrey area as required.
• Support customers toward independence and tenancy readiness.
