Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is seeking a Mobile Smart Repair Technician to cover the Yorkshire region. You will travel to different locations, carrying out smart repairs on our vehicle stock to a high standard with access to fully equipped repair vehicles.

We offer 44 hours per week, annual leave starting at 33 days, biannual salary reviews, and generous benefits including private healthcare and performance bonuses up to £9,000 every three years.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Smart repair/spray painting experience is essential.
• Attention to detail is important.
• Ability to multi-task and work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various locations to repair vehicle stock.
• Perform smart repairs to a high standard.
• Prepare vehicles and use repair equipment as needed.
• Maintain high quality paint finish on vehicles.

We’re currently recruiting for a motivated Mobile Smart Repair Technician to work across the Yorkshire region.

Hours

Full time: Monday - Friday 8am – 5.30pm

About the role

As a Mobile Smart Repair technician, you’ll travel around various locations, carrying out smart repairs to our vehicle sales stock to an excellent standard. You’ll be fully mobile, with access to one of our fully equipped smart repair vehicles.

The right person for the job will be energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to work on their own initiative, and excellent people skills. What’s more, you’ll have a great eye for detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job.

Day-to-day duties

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork (including masking)
• Carrying out minor damage repairs
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard

Essential skills

• A full UK driving licence
• Smart repair/Spray painting experience
• An excellent eye for detail
• The ability to multi-task
• Willingness to work on your own initiative
