Job summary

Arnold Clark is seeking a Mobile Smart Repair Technician to service our vehicle stock across the North West. You'll travel between locations in one of our equipped repair vehicles, delivering cosmetic repairs to a high standard.

We require a full UK driving licence, smart repair or spray painting experience, and a sharp eye for detail. The role suits self-motivated individuals capable of working independently with opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence held with clean record.
• Smart repair or spray painting experience required.
• Excellent eye for detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the North West to prepare vehicles for paintwork.
• Carry out minor damage repairs and polishing.
• Mix and apply paint products to a high standard.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for sale stock.

Job description

We’re currently recruiting for a motivated Mobile Smart Repair Technician to work across the North West region.

Hours

Full time: Monday - Friday 8am – 5.30pm

About The Role

As a Mobile Smart Repair technician, you’ll travel around various locations, carrying out smart repairs to our vehicle sales stock to an excellent standard. You’ll be fully mobile, with access to one of our fully equipped smart repair vehicles.

The right person for the job will be energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to work on your own initiative, and excellent people skills. What’s more, you’ll have a great eye for detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job.

Day-to-day duties

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork (including masking)
• Carrying out minor damage repairs
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard

Essential Skills

• A full UK driving licence
• Smart repair/Spray painting experience
• An excellent eye for detail
• The ability to multi-task
• Willingness to work on your own initiative
