Job summary

Arnold Clark is seeking a Mobile Smart Repair Technician based at our Bishopbriggs branch, covering the Stirling area. You will travel to various locations with access to fully equipped repair vehicles to deliver high-quality smart repairs on stock vehicles.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with excellent attention to detail. A full UK driving licence and spray-painting experience are essential, along with the ability to multi-task and

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience in smart repair/spray painting.
• Excellent eye for detail and pride in quality work.

• Willingness to work on own initiative and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for paintwork, including masking.
• Carry out minor damage repairs as part of mobile repairs.
• Polish and refine paintwork to remove defects.
• Mix and apply paint to vehicle surfaces to a high standard.
• Ensure repairs meet Arnold Clark quality expectations.

We’re currently recruiting for a motivated Mobile Smart Repair Technician to be based at our Bishopbriggs branch, covering the Stirling Area.

Hours

Full time: Monday - Thursday 8am – 5.30pm and Friday 8am - 4.30pm

About The Role

As a Mobile Smart Repair technician, you’ll travel around various locations, carrying out smart repairs to our vehicle sales stock to an excellent standard. You’ll be fully mobile, with access to one of our fully equipped smart repair vehicles.

The right person for the job will be energetic and self‑motivated, with the ability to work on their own initiative, and excellent people skills. What’s more, you’ll have a great eye for detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job.

Day-to-day duties

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork (including masking)
• Carrying out minor damage repairs
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard

Essential Skills

• A full UK driving licence
• Smart repair/Spray painting experience
• An excellent eye for detail
• The ability to multi-task
• Willingness to work on your own initiative
