Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a mobile Security Support Officer to travel between Glasgow-area sites, covering shifts including days, nights and weekends. You must have a valid SIA licence, UK driving license, and be prepared to stay away from home if required.

You will monitor sites, patrols, log every activity, and assist with incident response to maintain safety and continuity. The role requires adaptability, professional presentation, and a commitment to client service excellence across

Qualifications

Must have Right to Work in the UK and be able to pass BS7858 vetting.
Valid SIA Licence.
UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Confident computer literacy and ability to operate security systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and high personal presentation standards.

Responsibilities

Provide professional security cover across multiple client sites with high service standards.
Conduct regular site patrols and inspections following site procedures.
Monitor premises via CCTV and alarms; respond to incidents.
Record movements, attendance, and logs; maintain accurate records.
Ensure access control procedures align with site requirements.
Maintain security records and incident reports with precision.
Support health & safety policies and adapt to deployment needs.
