Cys Security Ltd is seeking a reliable Mobile Security Officer to provide security cover across multiple client sites. The role involves mobile patrols, lock/unlock duties and rapid responses to alarm activations within agreed times.

Responsibilities include patrolling, incident management, accurate reporting, and maintaining professional standards. A valid SIA licence and full UK driving licence are required; 5-year work history and strong IT skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence required.

• Minimum 5-year checkable work history.
• Previous security experience is desirable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to use handheld devices.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols at client sites.
• Respond to alarms and incidents within defined times.
• Manage lock/unlock duties and incidents on site.
• Attend and manage security, fire, welfare incidents.
• Maintain client premises security before leaving.
• Follow client and company security procedures.
• Liaise with 24/7 hub, management, and clients.
• Complete routine and incident reports on handheld devices.
• Act as ambassador for the company and maintain professionalism.
• Operate company vehicles and security equipment responsibly.
• Report issues, defects and incidents promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and health and safety compliance.
• Work independently with effective team communication.

Shift Pattern: Days, nights and weekends, minimum 12-hour shifts

Job Introduction

We are looking for reliable and professional Mobile Security Officers to provide security cover across multiple client sites. The role involves mobile patrols, lock/unlock duties and responding to alarm activations within agreed response times.

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled internal and external security patrols.
• Complete scheduled lock and unlock duties.
• Respond to intruder alarm activations within agreed response times.
• Attend and manage security, fire, welfare and injury-related incidents.
• Ensure client premises are secure before leaving site.
• Follow all client and company security procedures.
• Liaise with the 24/7 communications hub, management and clients.
• Complete accurate routine and incident reports using handheld devices.
• Maintain professional standards and act as an ambassador for the company.
• Operate company vehicles and security equipment responsibly.
• Report security issues, defects and incidents promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Work independently while maintaining effective communication with the wider team.
