Job summary

ABK Security Services Limited is seeking a Mobile Security Officer to cover a range of duties including mobile patrols and static guarding for clients across Worcestershire/West Midlands. You must hold a valid SIA licence and have fluent English, be customer focused, capable of remaining calm in emergencies, and able to work as part of a team or alone.

IT skills are also required; weekend work and a full driving licence are essential.

Mobile Security Officer needed to cover a variety of duties

• Mobile patrols
• Static guarding

Based from our Kidderminster Office to cover the Worcestershire/West Midlands area

About you

To be successful in this role you will hold a valid SIA Licence and have a proficient level of English both written and spoken. You will also need to be customer focused with the ability to remain calm in emergencies and dealing with customers. The ability to work in a team is also essential, along with the ability to work unsupervised. Additionally, you will have a competent level of IT skills.

Duties

This role will be varied and will include, but not be limited to:

• Site visits/patrolling/ lock ups and unlocking for client’s premises
• Responding to Alarm call outs and completing relevant documentation.
• To work as part of the monitoring and response team
• Dealing with emails and scheduling duties

Requirements

• Knowledge of Timegate preferable
• Full Driving Licence
• Minimum age 25 (for insurance purpose)
• Must be prepared to work weekends
• A fast pace working environment so must be able to remain calm under pressure

The Ideal Candidate

• Prior experience of working as a Duty Controller and a Mobile Response Security Officer is preferable.
• Must be flexible with working hours - days, evenings & weekends
