Job summary

Securitas in Cardiff is seeking a Mobile Security Officer to provide mobile security services and client support across multiple sites within a designated area. You will perform lock/unlock tasks, patrols and alarm responses, and conduct property inspections while maintaining high levels of professional service.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, a current SIA licence, and the ability to work shifts including nights on a 4-on/4-off pattern.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Valid SIA Front Line Licence.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of employment history.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mobile security services: lock/unlock duties, patrols, alarm responses, property inspections, escorts.
• Maintain a professional, courteous approach with clients, staff, and colleagues.
• Follow assignment instructions and collaborate with team members and Team Leaders.
• Conduct dynamic risk assessments at client sites.
• Complete accurate incident reports (incidents, break-ins, health & safety issues, road traffic accidents).
• Use GRS/SMP reporting systems with accurate data capture and evidence (photos where applicable).
• Drive safely in line with the Highway Code and company policies.
• Manage company vehicles, including checks and handovers at shift start and end.
• Handle keys according to strict key management procedures.
• Ensure compliance with SIA regulations, SOPs, and company policies.
• Maintain uniform standards, displaying SIA licence and ID.
• Secure company assets and ensure proper usage.
• Remain flexible to cover different guarding districts and support other branches as required.
