Job summary

Cys Security Ltd seeks a reliable Mobile Security Officer to provide cover across multiple client sites. You will perform mobile patrols, lock/unlock duties and respond to alarm activations within agreed response times.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, a full UK driving licence, and a minimum 5-year checkable work history. You will report incidents, liaise with the 24/7 hub, and uphold safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Minimum 5-year checkable work history.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled internal and external security patrols.
• Complete scheduled lock and unlock duties.
• Respond to intruder alarm activations within agreed response times.
• Attend and manage security, welfare and injury-related incidents.
• Ensure client premises are secure before leaving site.
• Follow all client and company security procedures.
• Liaise with the 24/7 communications hub, management and clients.
• Complete accurate routine and incident reports using handheld devices.
• Maintain professional standards and act as an ambassador for the company.
• Operate company vehicles and security equipment responsibly.
• Report security issues, defects and incidents promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Work independently while maintaining effective communication with the wider team.
