Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking a Mobile Caretaker to maintain several Exeter school sites, ensuring safety, cleanliness and compliance. You will perform general maintenance, security checks and respond to facility needs across multiple sites.

The role is full-time with a weekly rotating shift and a company vehicle provided for business use. A hands-on, collaborative approach is essential to keep facilities running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Range of handyperson skills including DIY, basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and access control of school buildings and grounds.
• Carry out daily tasks such as litter picking, bin emptying and sweeping.
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance per each school's schedule.
• Provide access and liaise with service providers for maintenance work.
• Carry out minor maintenance and decoration tasks.
• Investigate reactive requests and arrange temporary/permanent repairs as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate rectifications per procedures.
• Assist with porterage and moving of parcels and furniture as required.
• Weekly drain/gully checks and plant room checks; routine maintenance tasks.
